Browsing data

When you visit the site, the server that hosts it automatically records some technical data: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and referring page.

They are used only to run the site and protect it from abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): we do not use them for statistics or profiling. The server is in Germany, in the European Union, and the logs are deleted automatically within five weeks, unless the judicial authorities request them.

Quote and consultation requests

The site has no forms that send data to a server. “Request a quote” and “Request a consultation” prepare a summary that opens in your email program: you decide whether to send it.

If you write to us, we use the data you send (name, email, occasion, date, venue, guests, budget and notes) to reply and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep messages for as long as needed to handle the request; if an engagement follows, for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by tax law.

Cookies

The site only uses technical cookies. We do not use profiling, advertising or statistics cookies, nor any visitor analytics.

The banner is run by the Cookie-Script service, which keeps proof of your choice: a random code stored in the cookie, the choice made, date and time, the page, the browser and the IP address with its last digits set to zero.

You can change your choice at any time with Manage cookies, also at the bottom of every page, or delete cookies in your browser settings.

External services

Photos, videos and music are on our own server: the pages do not embed content from other sites. The only external service loaded is the Cookie-Script banner. The Facebook and Instagram links take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy notices.

Who handles the data

The data are handled by Macramè and, only as far as their work requires, by its technical providers: site hosting, email, Cookie-Script and the agency that looks after the site. We do not sell or pass on data to anyone.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, correct or delete it, restrict its use, object to its processing and receive it in a readable format (Articles 15–22 GDPR). Just write to macrame@macrameeventi.it.

If you believe your data are not being handled correctly, you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
